On January 23, 2017, about 1900 central standard time (CST), a Beechcraft C99, N216CS, departed the runway during an attempted takeoff at Durango La-Plata County Airport (DRO), Durango, Colorado. The airplane sustained substantial damage to both engines. The airline transport-rated pilot and commercial-rated co-pilot were not injured.
