On November 26, 2003, at 1530 eastern standard time, a Globe Swift GC1B, N3210K, registered to and operated by the Airline Transport Pilot, ground looped during landing on runway 5, at the Moore County Airport in Southern Pines, North Carolina. The pilot stated that there were no mechanical or engine problems at the time of the accident.
The pilot's failure to maintain directional control of the airplane during the landing roll, which resulted in an inadvertent ground loop and the collapse of the landing gear.
