NTSB Factual Report

The airplane nosed over during landing when the right main landing gear contacted snow at the edge of the road. The pilot reported he was landing his airplane on a road to the west. The pilot stated that there was a crosswind and during the landing roll the left wing started to lift. The pilot reported the airplane then started to drift toward to the north edge of the road. The pilot stated the airplane's right main landing gear then came into contact with the snow thereby causing the airplane to nose over.

NTSB Probable Cause

The pilot's inadequate compensation for the crosswind conditions during the landing roll, which resulted in a loss of control and a nose over. A factor associated with the accident was the crosswind.
